Brownstown Middle School
Brownstown Middle School is a great place to visit if you like sports or STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) programs. They have an outdoor track around one of the fields where they play football in the fall. Their playing field is so nice, they use it to play soccer and baseball as well.
But what about STEM? Well, Brownstown Middle School has a robotics program. They do it through FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). The students work in teams to build robots out of Legos that can handle tasks like stacking cones on top of each other or shooting targets. The designs have to be unique, yet functional.

For example, this year they started a STEM club all about food safety and health called “HACCP: A Club Where People Are Safe.” It’s where kids can learn about food health and safety in a way they find interesting.
Brownstown Middle School also has some fun clubs like the “Superheroes Club” where students can design their own characters with superpowers. They also have intramural sports like pickleball, flag football, soccer, and more than anyone can join for free!
There are also lots of other fantasy sports to play at Brownstown Middle School. They have a football team, a basketball team, and more.
If you go to the school gym, you’ll find things like yoga classes, taekwondo classes, or even beginner volleyball practice! The gyms aren't just for ball games, though. They also host fun activities like DJ’ing classes or even life drawing!
