The boat ramp is open year-round. Fishing and non-powered boating are allowed, however, gasoline motors will not be permitted until March 1st when the park opens for the season. The Metropark also offers plenty of fishing opportunities at its six designated fishing areas, including catch and release for fly fishing only.
